Can I buy generic prescriptions, even though my doctor prescribed a brand name medication?

Absolutely.  Unless your doctor specifically prohibits it, we can substitute a generic equivalent that meets the same high standards as the brand name, but at a fraction of the cost.

Buying Medication

How do I fill my prescription at Bedford Wellness Pharmacy?

For new prescriptions, your doctor can send them to us electronically, so that they are in progress by the time you get here.  You can order refills with our mobile app (Rx2Go), by calling us, or with the "Refillbutton at the top of this page.  You can also request automatic refills and MedSync.  With these programs, there's no pressure for you to remember to call in your refills.  Simply tell us which day of the month you'd like your meds to be ready, and we'll take care of the rest...automatically.  We'll even call your doctor to request refills when necessary.  To sign up for these convenient programs, contact us.

Prescription Medication

Will my insurance cover the prescription medicine I purchase?

Every insurance plan is a little different.  Some plans exclude certain medications, like compounds or cosmetic prescriptions.  Our pharmacy accepts hundreds of insurance plans, so  we probably accept yours.  Be sure to bring your card with you on your first visit, so we can verify your coverage.
